2 Delicious Recipes With Breast Health Benefits

Be sure to take a look at my breast health tips post for  a bit of background on why I chose these particular recipes.

Chef John's Peanut Curry Chicken

Turmeric contains curcumin, a substance doctors have found to support breast health, so I'm sharing this recipe not only because I love it, but because it's healthy, too. It's also relatively easy to prepare. I must disagree with one thing the chef says, though. He makes the statement that it's not based on a recipe from any specific culture, blah blah, and perhaps his specific recipe is not, but curry chicken, like most recipes accented with the exotic taste of turmeric, originated in the Middle East.

Melt in your mouth Salmon

Salmon is another of my favorites that also offers healthy benefits overall, including the ability to fight free radicals and other cancer causing agents from attaching themselves to our most vulnerable areas. That definitely includes our breasts. According to studies, Omega-3 is abundant in salmon, and in addition to helping to keep our breasts healthy, Omega-3 helps slow aging. Now that's a perfect perk if I ever heard one!

Marinated Wild Salmon

I know I said two, but I just couldn't resist this one. Let me know if you give any of these a try :-) Try adding a touch of Tiger Sauce to add even more kick.

Kym, it is! It's one of my faves, and actually not hard to make. It takes a bit of time, though, because it's best to let some of the ingredients sit for a while to absorb the full flavor :-)
