Happy New Year: 2016 Blog Schedule

Happy New Year!! I hope you all had a fabulous Christmas and I'm wishing you a joyous and prosperous 2016.

The last couple of years have been extremely eventful, challenging my focus and altering my perspective. Health problems continue to linger, but in many ways, my spirit has been renewed. With that in mind, I decided it was time to renew my blog as well :-)

Here's my schedule for this year. For members of my readers' list (e-mail list), you'll continue to receive my posts in your inbox weekly on Mondays for your convenience, but feel free to stop by any time since my plan is to go from blogging 2-3 times a week to 5 times a week.

Sundays - "Thriving" - Some of my friends have been pushing me to do this for quite some time. Using my knowledge as a psychologist and educator as well as personal life experience (nothing beats that), each week I'll discuss a topic related to living well...spiritually, physically, emotionally/mentally, and socially...and invite you to join in the discussion to share thoughts and tips.

Tuesdays - Spotlights - As always, I'll feature authors, readers, and service providers with interviews, book features, excerpts, and reviews.

Thursdays - #Thursday13 - I'm finally joining the Thursday 13 team, so each week I'll post a list of 13 random things of my own, or invite a guest to post a list of their own.

Fridays - Sneak Peeks and Flashes - I'll share original pic-inspired flashes, take you on a virtual field trip to my website for sneak peeks of my works-in-progress (WIPs), or share short excerpts from some of my published books.

Saturdays - "Booklovers' Event Showcase" - This is something I've wanted to try for some time, so fingers crossed, I'm taking the leap. I'd like to invite others to team up with me in sharing their book-related events such as Facebook parties, new releases, book tours and hops, giveaways, even events they're planning to attend using hashtag #BLES. Let me know what you think about my new schedule. I love to hear from you.

Sounds like a plan! I also try to stick to a schedule, it helps me focus. It's a good idea to make it known.
