What Do the Lonely Do?: Missing NanoWrimo

What Do the Lonely Do?: Missing NanoWrimo

I’ve been posting announcements about my surgery here and there, and due to the timing of the procedure, I’ll be recovering when Nano starts. Since I’m not the fastest writer anyway, and there are quite a few extra distractions (mostly health-related) in my life right now, I decided to forego the formal NanoWrimo, but I’ve got another plan so the time’s not completely wasted.

If you scroll down and look at the right sidebar of my blog you’ll see a list of some of my works in progress (WIP’s). I’ve chosen two WIP’s to focus on once I’m able to write again. I’ll be posting updates for the two chosen novels along with wordcount updates and sneak peeks here on my blog at least once a week.

Since most writers will be participating in Nano, I’m relying on my reader friends to comment and spur me on. Of course that’s not to say I wouldn’t appreciate comments from other authors as well if you have a minute to spare :-)

So, here are the two I’ve chosen based on a poll I conducted a few months ago: “Dark Sentinels Book Three: Parrish” (long overdue first full-length in the series), and a new Valentine’s Day novel I just started, “The Arrangement: Dai’s Dark Valentine.”

Meanwhile, can’t leave without just one more cute pic of some of my favorite creations in the world to cheer me you up!

I signed up for NaNo, too, but cannot do it as I have a deadline of 12/4 to get one of my projects to Decadent. So, I will be right there beside you my little girlfriend, checking on you to see how you are doing. You get better and we will set the world at your feet. You are in my thoughts and prayers, my dearest. I hold you close, safely nestled under my ribs close to my heart where you will be safe. Love and Huggs. xoxoxo

Muffy and Donna, surgery went well and I got back home this evening! Still sore of course, but thrilled otherwise. Your thoughts and prayers mean the world to me! Love both of you and plan to get back to writing soon as I awake later today :-)
